All Saints Sponsored SleepOver in aid of Robes

Friday 11 October at 7.30pm to Saturday 12 October at 9am

All Saints West Dulwich has supported Robes homeless project since 2016. Robes provides support to help homeless people rebuild their lives. This is mainly through a volunteer-led ‘floating’ Winter night shelter, hosted in church buildings throughout Southwark and Lambeth. Find out more about Robes here.

This year, All Saints is providing the opportunity for children and young people (10 years and over) to sleep over in our crypt, raising awareness of rough sleeping in our area, and raising money through sponsorship, to support Robes. Our crypt is warm and dry and we have a great film planned for the evening, along with cinema snacks and a delicious breakfast.

Main Points

  • The SleepOver is for children and young people aged 10+ years.
  • There is a £10 fee per child (payable on the door by cash or card).
  • Every child and young person (10 to 17 years) taking part has to be signed in by a parent/legal guardian.
  • A completed Consent & Booking Form is required for every child and must be signed by a parent/legal guardian.
  • Completed forms can be returned to youth@all-saints.org.uk or brought on the night.
  • All food is provided but please BRING YOUR OWN BED (camp bed/mat or air mattress, and bedding/sleeping bag). If you don’t have these, please ask friends and family. Lots of people have camping equipment that they don’t use in October so you’ll save yourself the bother of having to buy it.

How do I manage getting sponsors?

The easiest way for people to sponsor you is through JustGiving and we’ve set up our own page for the SleepOver to help you do that. The money donated through this page goes directly to Robes. Please share the link with everyone who you are asking to sponsor you. It would also be good to share a link to Robes as well so that they can see how their money will be used.
