L’Arche Easter Appeal 2023

As social workers, Brenda and Ned witnessed “the doing down of social care” over several decades. So while their son Matthew was growing up, they worried how he would ever come to experience a bigger life, beyond the family home. Then some friends told them that joining L’Arche had been “like winning the lottery” for their daughter. They wanted that for Matthew too. And when a place become available in a L’Arche home, they leapt at the chance. Watch the video to see how new life opened up for Matthew – and for L’Arche – when he moved in.
